We are pleased to share that the President of the Étude Académique des Droits de l’Homme et du Constitutionnalisme has been reappointed to the Scientific Advisory Council of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. This renewed appointment recognises her long-standing academic involvement and practical expertise in constitutional law and human rights. It also highlights the close relationship between the Étude's research activities and the latest developments in constitutional justice at national and European levels.

Adelaida Kovalkovska – on rebuilding Ukraine

Natalia Mishyna, one of EADHC founders, speaks: today I present one of my best friends Adelaida Kovalkovska. She is an electrophysicist (specialising in electroacoustics and ultrasound), now retired. Adelaida has 3 children, so she advises on youth and education.Before the war, Adelaida lived in the centre of Odessa and spent a lot of time doing sports and cultural activities. She was my main partner in crime when it came to the opera, ballet and other theatres. Now she lives in Ulm, Germany.Adelaida likes to see that children and young people in Germany have a very serious extracurricular education - in sport, music, art. Anna Sarybaieva (Pisarenko) – on rebuilding Ukraine

We've talked to Dr. Anna Sarybaieva (Pisarenko), who has 20 years of research experience in the fields of administrative law, administrative justice and administrative services.Anna's story:Before the war, I was a Ph. D. (Doctorate ), Associate Professor at the Department of Administrative and Financial Law at the National University “Odesa Law Academy.”In 2022, I left Ukraine, first moving to Germany, and I am currently residing in Austria. How do you know you have found an interesting topic for research that is useful for society?

Here is an example: I'm designing the brochure for our project #WomenRebuildingUA, and one of the answers to the question: What would you like to 'bring back' from European countries to help rebuild Ukraine? is 'targeted prevention of domestic violence at all levels, starting from the local level'. See our other ongoing project - developing a policy and awareness toolkit for local and regional authorities to effectively tackle domestic violence. Such synergy always gives more energy to push research forward!
