
Natalia Mishyna
is a researcher at the SAGE laboratory of the University of Strasbourg, France. In parallel, Natalia is a Professor in the Department of Constitutional Law at the National University ‘Odessa Academy of Law’, Ukraine, where she brings over 25 years of expertise in comparative research on municipal law and human rights.
She has authored over 50 publications in leading journals and presented her work at international conferences, contributing to the global discourse on local government and European human rights and municipal standards. The recipient of numerous prestigious international and national fellowships and awards, Natalia has been recognised by the Chevening Programme (British Council), the US Department of State, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and local government bodies, including the Odessa Regional and City Councils, among others.
Natalia’s work is driven by a deep commitment to bridging the gap between national and international legal discourses and contributing to policy-making at the highest levels. She is deeply passionate about translating Ukrainian legal and cultural realities for an international audience.
Olena Sinkevych
is a Doctor of Law and Professor at the Department of Constitutional Law at Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv. She is a certified trainer for the Council of Europe’s HELP
(Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals) programme.
Her work focuses on constitutional law and international human rights protection. She has authored and co-authored numerous analytical documents on constitutional law, including expert opinions, amicus curiae briefs and legal analyses for the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
With over 25 years of experience, she has played a key role in the development of constitutionalism and human rights in Ukraine.
In the coming years, her research will focus
on human rights in armed conflict.
