Mission Statement
The Étude Académique des Droits de l’Homme et du Constitutionnalisme (EADHC) is dedicated to the promotion of human rights and constitutionalism through academic research, legal expertise and educational programmes.
We aim to empower scholars, legal professionals and students by providing training, research opportunities and expert legal assistance to strengthen the protection of fundamental rights at the national and international levels.
Goals
Research and publications:
- conducting comparative studies on the implementation of international human rights standards;
- publish research, reports and expert analysis on human rights issues;
- organise academic competitions and support young researchers with scholarships and grants.
Legal support and advocacy:
- provide legal advice on constitutional and human rights issues;
- assisting individuals and organisations with applications to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR);
- contributing to legal reforms through the drafting of expert opinions and legislative proposals.
Education & capacity building:
- develop educational programmes, teaching materials and legal courses for students and professionals;
- facilitate the exchange of experiences between legal scholars and practitioners;
- organise summer schools, seminars and training sessions on human rights and constitutional law.
International cooperation:
- organising national and international conferences, round tables and expert discussions;
- strengthen cooperation with legal practitioners, academic institutions and human rights organisations.
Public Awareness & Outreach:
- conduct information campaigns to promote human rights and constitutional values;
- engage with policymakers and civil society to advocate for greater protection of human rights.
